Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids - was born at Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. Her mother was at home as a mother. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. McCormick was a talented artist and singer from a young age. Her passion was to show puppet shows for the neighbors. When McCormick was six years old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her and asked if she'd be interested in entering show business. McCormick had her first significant task when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels latest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for The Wind It Up and It's Breaks at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from more than 1200 children to become the oldest of the three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The run of five years for the show was a success. McCormick admitted her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick nearly lost her Virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year duration of the show. The actress was sixteen years old and the actor was aged 19 at that moment. This timing wouldn't have had worked out for us, she informed me.
