Katja Herbers has been a professional performer since the age of a girl. Herbers is the daughter of Vera Beths (violinist) and Werner Herbers (oboist). In her early years She was with her mother when she went to America touring with the chamber ensemble L'Archibudelli. She met the theatre as her father Leonie Poliak, and the cellist Annerbylsma were married.
